Excellent, I loved this, my favourite style of horror game 100%. Like me if you love anything similar to the classic Resident Evil games then you need to play this demo. I hope it gets more attention & possibly developed further into a full release as it has great potential for sure. I had to make a few videos on it as its just epic!

Wow what a fantastic game, I could totally see this as a full throw back game, I love the vitnem jungle asthetic, the game feel real isolating, makes u wonder why more horror games dont take place in the jungle, if this does turn into a full game I'd love to see maybe jungle animals that have turned into zombies or entre villages. Agian great game, I can see the hard work you guys put into it, would love to see more in the furture

After I pressed the play button and watched the initial splash screen with text, I just got a black screen and nothing happens. Nothing works, the next scene does not load. I tried different settings in full screen, in window mode, different resolutions, etc., nothing helps. Just a black screen and does not let me into the game. Please help.

Even though it was a little difficult at first, I still had lots of fun playing this game! What I like most about this game are the mechanics, the voice acting, and the cutscenes! The live action cutscene that plays in the beginning is my favorite because it reminds me of this game from the 1990's called Harvester, which is another game I really like as well! Keep up the awesome work!

I included this game in my third Indie Game Contest. For the first time the contest ended up coming down to a close 3 way tie and I had to figure out which game would receive a donation. Fortunately in the end I really couldn't decide on some fronts so I decided to split the prize in a tiered way for the 3 winners. Your game ended up winning a donation!
As for the game itself, what a joy this was to play. The only way I could really describe this game to others is that it's a labour of love and a true passion project. As someone who has fond memories of Resident Evil 1 and other classic survival horror games I had a smile on my face the entire time. It is clear the game is heavily inspired by some of the all time classics but it has such a unique feel to it that no one could ever call it a clone or copy in good faith.
• The cinematics were absolute cinema and really added to the retro feel of the game. I can only imagine the amount of work you put in to ensure they felt just right.
• The controls for the most part worked really well and on more than one occasion I already knew impulsively what button on the controller did what. The only annoyance I did run into was when using the analog controls and encountering a camera angle change as it often caused me to run back to the previous screen and be attacked. In the end I opted to use the tank controls which really just felt like the right thing to do anyways. I mean, it just served to remind me more of the classics.
• The music and sound design was both well done and incredibly nostalgic. The sound effects for the menus, weapons, and zombies were all fantastic. There is nothing I could suggest to improve on this aspect.
• On one occasion a viewer of the stream asked "Wait, this isn't an old game?" and really I think that highlights exactly what I loved and celebrated the game for. It really feels and looks like something that could have come out alongside the classics.
• The level design felt natural and didn't seem low effort. The tight corridors and dark atmosphere of the tunnels felt claustrophobic and tense while the jungle environments gave me, although very slight, room to breath. The variety of enemies in the game was also a pleasant surprise, especially when the enemies fit the environment like the piranhas.
I just can't express enough how much I enjoyed this short look at your project. Thank you for all the hard work and all the time you have poured into it so far. I genuinely believe this game could turn out to be one of the best games to try and do classic survival horror.

This was great, incredibly polished and style is just right. My only little criticism is that in the armory, the path that goes to one of the eyes is not very clear, unless it's intended, I was lost for a while because I thought it was just some crates against a wall

Hey so I did get a crash on this computer I have here with integrated intel GPU. Can you tell me your hardware specs? Could you also try updating your GPU to the latest graphics driver?
Very nice. 2 things though. For the analoge controls, you can't turn left or riht while aiming like you can with the tank controls. Also the controller diagram in the options menu says L2/R2 Vert. Aim and L1/R1 Aim. I don't see any difference between the two though. They do the same thing is seems. I'm using an 8bitdo wired Ultimate Xbox One controller.
Hey there, so with R1/L1 you should be able to aim and turn horizontally with the analog. R2/L2 your turning is locked so you can only aim up/down. It might be that controller driver is interpreting things differently. Can you try it with a different controller like xbox 360 or Dualshock 4/5? Also if you could join the discord and post in the bugs thread we can trouble shoot this better. I just ordered the controller on Amazon, should arrive tomorrow I'll test it out see if I have the same issue.

This is genuinely great. It gets all the PS1 stylistic beats right, it's very funny, and I'm so so happy for controller support, even in the demo!
Feels like playing a lost, jingoistic Resident Evil, and that's maybe the highest praise I can give it. Can't wait for the full game.
